International Prayer Conference 2009

IPC2009.jpg
Washington Crossing near Philadelphia USA - 10-13th September 2009
The conference was hosted by Scott McDermott, pastor and preacher who has shared with us on a number of occasions.
It was an awesome four days, praying for revival, in a powerful atmosphere of the Holy Spirit. His presence was heavy during the conference. The messages provoked the crying out for global awakening. Connections across churches in renewal were strengthened in the conference. In particular the team from Cuba were a blessing, sharing their experience of living in days like the early church. Miracles, conversions, church planting and persecution are part of their daily life.
We are looking to the next place and time of the next IPC. Cuba would love to host it!
God is clearly orchestrating this prayer movement for revival. Hallelujah!

I want to invite you to join us for the International Prayer Conference held at Washington Crossing United Methodist Church on Sept 10-13, 2009. Dr. Isaac Lim, former President of the Trinity Annual Conference in Singapore, founded this growing worldwide movement of Prayer among Methodists. Few can doubt that Methodists worldwide are sensing the growing need for more prayer. Prayer has been a significant part of the Methodist movement from the beginning. And, why not? After all, prayer is the birthplace of the will of God on earth. John Wesley himself taught that God does nothing except in answer to prayer. That is why on September 10th through the 13th, delegates from around the world will meet at Washington Crossing to learn and pray for God's work among us as Methodists. The theme: Praying for Revival. I hope you will join us. Come ready to pray, and let's get ready to see the good things God is going to do!!!
Blessings,
Scott McDermott, Ph.D
